Welcoming Giorgi Tsikolia as Regional Director for Georgia

I am pleased to announce that Giorgi Tsikolia has joined our team as Regional Director for Georgia effective August 1, 2022. Giorgi will be responsible for the development of Lineate business in Georgia and the region.

His successful work in public service is well known in Georgia. During his time as a Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Georgia in the United States, Giorgi achieved impressive legislative and economic results, bringing U.S.-Georgia relations to a higher level, while solidifying the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Prior to his work in Washington DC, Giorgi led a number of Georgian state agencies enabling programs that have brought more foreign investment, and trade, and created jobs for the ordinary Georgians. Giorgi received his education from the leading US school of international relations: The Fletcher School of Diplomacy at Tufts University. He is a happily married father of three wonderful children.

Lineate builds custom software solutions to solve the hardest business problems, especially complex data challenges. The company has more than 15 years of experience in developing high-end software and advanced data solutions. Giorgi will be instrumental in adapting Lineate’s distinctive approach and culture to our new development center and growing our next generation of engineering talent.

Through our subsidiary Lineate Georgia, we plan to become a valuable member of the Georgian corporate environment, contributing to the development of the local economy, and bringing U.S. know-how and modern business processes to the already impressive and fast-growing IT industry. We aim to create a model tech ecosystem and grow local talent, working with Georgian universities and other responsible stakeholders and helping to put Georgia on the wider map as an up-and-coming regional tech hub.

His great talent, skills, and experiences working in both the public and private sectors will be a valuable addition to the company and instrumental in fulling our commitment to developing our capabilities in Georgia and beyond.
